Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had overcast skies with some light rain showers. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
On the Buxton beaches puppy drum and sea mullet were reported. Out at Cape Point good puppy drum fishing this morning with some citation drum caught late last night. Over on the Frisco beach around the Frisco pier puppy drum and a few speckled trout were caught.
There were no boats out today, inshore or offshore.

Today we had partly sunny skies. The winds were from the north-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.
On the Buxton beaches puppy drum were caught. Out at Cape Point real good puppy drum fishing with some over the 27″ slot. Over on the Frisco beach more puppy drum and bluefish were caught. Hatteras had reports puppy drum and a few flounder..
There were still no boats out today, inshore or offshore.

Today we had mostly cloudy skies. The winds were from the north at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.
Up on the Avon Pier the big drum were biting again this morning with about 5 released. On the Buxton beaches some black drum and sea mullet were caught. Cape Point had some puppy drum and a few big drum today. Over on the Frisco beach some black drum, a few puppy drum and flounder were caught. Hatteras had reports of bluefish, puppy drum and sea mullet.
There were no boats out today, inshore or offshore.

Today was overcast with a high of 72F. Breezy, with winds from the southwest at 15 to 25 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon.
Puppy drum continue to bite up and down the beaches from Avon to Hatteras. Avon Pier had quite a few big drum this morning. Buxton had puppy drum, flounder and bluefish. There were some speckled trout reported at the jetties. Cape Point had puppy drum and big drum this morning along with some bluefish and keeper flounder. The bite continued at Frisco, on the north side of the Pier. It was not as good as yesterday, but still good. More puppy drum caught on mullet today, with some on artificials. There were also some speckled trout caught near the pier. Hatteras had reports of bluefish, puppy drum and flounder as well.
