Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was warm with light wind and partly cloudy skies. The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Up on the Avon beach there were sea mullet, bluefish and some pompano caught. Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet were reported. The Frisco beaches had some sea mullet reported and down on the Hatteras beaches bluefish and sea mullet were reported.
The inshore boats had good bluefish and puppy drum catches as well as some big red drum releases.
The offshore boats had good black fin tuna, some nice wahoo and a few dolphin reported. The bottomfishing was good too with trigger fish and tilefish catches.
