Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast with north-east winds 15 mph with gusts to 20 mph.
Up on the Avon beach bluefish, a few pompano and spanish mackerel were reported. Around the Buxton beaches bluefish and sea mullet were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish and spanish mackerel were caught. Over on the Frisco beach flounder were reported. Down at Hatteras puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet were caught.
The inshore boats had good catches of speckled trout and some nice red drum.
The offshore boats had good dolphin fishing and scattered wahoo. One sailfish was released.
