Beautiful weather today. we did have some cloud cover today but it made for a great day outside. The winds were from the North East 5-10 mph. Temperatures were in the upper 70’s.
Fishing was much better today than it has been all week. In Avon there was sea-mullet and grey trout from the beach and some sea-mullet off the pier. In Buxton there was sea-mullet, pompano, blow toads, puppy drum, bluefish and some flounder biting. Here in Frisco there was some sea-mullet biting. In Hatteras the flounder, puppy drum, and bluefish caught.
Inshore today there was some good fishing. There was spanish mackerel and cobia caught most of the day. In The afternoon there was a good red drum bite near the inlet.
Offshore picked up with a good dolphin bite, scattered black-fin tuna and wahoo. There was a good amount off sailfish released today.
