Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny. The winds were from the south-west at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s
On the Buxton,beach sea mullet, spot, croaker and sea mullet were reported. Over on the Frisco beach some citation sea mullet, black drum, spot and citation pompano were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, sea mullet and a few flounder were reported. The pictures below are two citations. a 2 lb 4 oz pompano caught by Jeffrey Madre and 2 lb 1 oz citation caught by Josh Kiser. Pretty work guys.
The inshore boats caught lots citation red drum.
The offshore fishing was decent today with good dolphin catches and scattered blackfin and yellowfin tuna, wahoo and amberjack.. One white marlin released.
