Today we had another beautiful day with sunny skies and light winds. The winds were from the south-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.
The Buxton beaches were the same as yesterday with sea mullet, bluefish and a few pompano caught. Out at Cape Point there some spanish mackerel and bluefish reported. The Frisco beach report had some sea mullet, bluefish, a few flounder, sheepshead and pompano. Down on the Hatteras beach there were some sea mullet and a couple decent size cobia caught.
The inshore boats had some decent catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish with a good amount of cobia caught. The picture below is a 83 lb cobia caught aboard the ‘Godspeed” charter boat today.
The offshore boats had fair dolphin fishing and a few yellowfin tuna with a white marlin and a blue marlin released.
