Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today. We had west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
Bluefish, sea mullet and puppy drum were reported on the Avon beach. The Buxton beaches had real good bluefish using mullet rigs and lures. Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was also good with reports of puppy and yearling drum being caught as well.
On the Frisco beach, sea mullet, lots of bluefish and pompano were reported. The Hatteras beaches had a few pompano, bluefish and sea mullet with some puppy drum mixed in.
The inshore boats caught bluefish and speckled trout. Offshore, wahoo fishing was good with a few dolphin and blackfin tuna mixed in. There were at least 15 sailfish released today.
