Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Beautiful weather today although a little windy. The winds were from the South-West at 10-15 mph. The temperatures were in the upper 70’s throughout the day.
Good fishing off the beach today. In Buxton there was bluefish sea-mullet, flounder, and drum at the point. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet and bluefish biting. Hatteras beach had bluefish off the beach and in the sound and some red drum late at night near the inlet.
Mr. Zimmerman with an 8lb 13oz bluefish he caught today at Ramp 55 in Hatteras today.
William Partin went to the point tonight and caught and released this nice 45 inch citation drum.
Inshore there has bean great fishing. The schools and red drum and black drum were all over today. There was a great bluefish bite today. The cobia are starting to show up with nice size fish being caught.
Offshore today there was a great dolphin bite with a few boats getting limits. The black-fin tuna are biting as well.
