It was another sunny day on the island. The wind was calm in the morning then changing to North-North-East 10-15 mph in the afternoon. The temperature was in the lower 70’s throughout the day.
The Gray Trout stayed at the Avon pier again today, from the beach there were Sea-Mullet and Spot Caught. Pompano, Sea-Mullet, a few Sheepshead ,and a small Cobia were caught in Buxton today. Fishing was slow in Frisco today with only a few Puppy Drum and Sea-Mullet caught. In Hatteras the small Bluefish and small Flounder made an appearance.
Inshore today there were Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. In the Pamlico Sound there were some nice Puppy Drum caught. The picture below is Mr Phillips from Chesterfield Va with his puppy drum that he caught while fishing with Mike Pittman and friends in the Pamlico Sound. Pretty Work!!
