Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had partly sunny skies. The temperatures were in the low 80’s. The wind was out of the north-east at 5-15 mph.
Today on the Buxton beach and Cape Point bluefish, sea mullet and a few spanish mackerel were reported, just like yesterday. The Frisco beaches had reports of bluefish, sea mullet and a few decent size flounder up to 18 inches. Hatteras had bluefish, pompano, sea mullet and flounder all of the smaller variety.
The inshore boats had good catches of keeper size puppy drum and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound. The offshore boats caught the yellowfin and blackfin tuna pretty good. A few dolphin and wahoo catches with a blue marlin, white marlin and 2 sailfish released.
