Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was partly cloudy with a few rain showers. We had west winds at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
Buxton beaches had reports of puppy drum,, sea mullet and a few blow toads. Over on the Frisco beach only some puppy drum were reported. Down on the Hatteras beaches scattered catches of flounder, puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet were reported.
The inshore boats caught more nice red drum and speckled trout. The offshore boats had limits of dolphin and some wahoo with real good trigger fish catches from the bottom.

Building on the award-winning platform of the VERSA MAX, Remington proudly announces the new VERSA MAX Sportsman. This is a workhorse shotgun designed for today’s American sportsman who wants the ultimate in autoloading technology and performance but doesn’t require a full featured gun like the ground breaking original. We’ve kept all the great technology that earned the VERSA MAX a Golden Bullseye Award from American Rifleman and a “Best of the Best” nod from Field & Stream magazine while streamlining the design to appeal to more hunters in more fields.
