Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was windy with sunny skies. The winds were from the south-east at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s. We have a low pressure coming through tomorrow bringing gusty winds and lots of rain. South winds 25-30 mph and thunderstorms are in the forecast.
Up on the Avon and Buxton beaches some bluefish, sea mullet and black drum were reported. Over on the Frisco beach some bluefish and puppy drum were reported. Down on the Hatteras beach some bluefish, puppy drum and pompano were caught.
The inshore boats had some decent puppy drum fishing in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had decent dolphin and wahoo catches
