Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had a beautiful day. Mostly sunny skies with light winds all day. The winds were from the east south-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.
Up on the Avon beaches there were spot, sea mullet and croaker were reported. On the Buxton beaches there were bluefish reported. Out at Cape Point in Buxton the big red drum were caught just after dark and probably are still being caught. Some nice size bluefish and puppy drum were also caught. Over on the Frisco beach the bluefish bite was decent. Down on the Hatteras beach some bluefish, spot and flounder were caught.
The inshore boats had some puppy drum and some good size bluefish caught today in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had real good dolphin fishing with some limits and excellent wahoo catches. A couple of sailfish were released today.
