Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a little overcast, with a high around 87F. We had a few rainshowers on and off today. The winds were out of the west-north-west this morning, switched to the northeast this evening, blowing between 5-10 mph.
There is a few fish being caught, despite the warm water temperatures. Avon is reporting some croaker, sea mullet, spot and pompano. Buxton is reporting sea mullet, small bluefish and spot. Frisco had small bluefish today. Hatteras had some small bluefish, sea mullet and croaker.
The inshore boats had catches of speckled trout, bluefish and red drum today.
The offshore fleet made it out today, it was a little windy though. They had good catches of wahoo and blackfin tuna. The sailfish bite was good today. There were four releases.
