Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had rain showers off and on again today.  It cleared up this evening, which let folks get out and enjoy the beach.  The temperature was 77F with winds out of the south-south-east around 8mph.

Fishing is good on Avon Pier.  They are catching pompano, spot, croaker, small flounder, spade fish and small sharks.  Off Avon beach they are catching spot, sea mullet and croaker.  Buxton beach had reports of a nice black drum, sea mullet and croaker.  Hatteras had reports of flounder, sea mullet and bluefish.  Some puppy drum were caught on the soundside also.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today.
