Here is your Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks fishing report for Hatteras Island.
Today was beautiful. The weather was just right. Sunny skies and light east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80.s. Fishing was pretty good on the Frisco beach today. Pompano’s were being caught on sand flees and some nice sea mullet also being caught. The Hatteras beach was producing some nice catches of blues, a few pompano and sea mullet. The inshore fleet was catching blues and a few spanish. Good speckled trout and flounder fishing also reported. The offshore fishing was excellent today. Limits of dolphin, some gaffers and most of were nice size bailers A couple of wahoo and some amber jacks were caught today as well. A good number of sailfish were spotted and a about 15 sailfish and one white marlin were released.
