Here is your Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks fishing report for Hatteras Island.

The weather was decent today. Nice calm breezes early on until about mid-day when the wind picked up to 10-15 mph out of the south-west. We had sunny skies with temperatures in the high 80’s and low 90’s.

Beach Fishing was decent.   We had reports of sea mullet and pompano biting on the south beach, as well as a nice flounder bite today. Spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught at the point and the inlet. There was also one puppy drum reported off of the south beach.

Inshore guides reported decent catches of speckled trout, with a few drum seen.

Offshore guides reported another decent day. Dolphin fishing continues to be amazing. The wahoo bite was pretty fair today, as well as a scattered blackfin tuna bite. The Sea Creature caught and released one sailfish today.

The wind is supposed to kick up tomorrow to 20-25 mph out of the southwest. Temperatures expected to be in the high 80’s and low 90’s. Also a 30% chance of rain with scattered thunderstorms.
