Here is your Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The weather was nice today. Temperatures were in the high 80’s, and the winds were blowing around 5-10 mph out of the east.
Beach Fishing was slower today than it has been recently. There were only a few reports of puppy drum from the south beach.
Inshore charter guides reported a decent day. There was good spanish mackerel fishing, along with a few gray and speckled trout.
Offshore charters had a pretty good day as well. Reports of good dolphin fishing, a few wahoo and a few blackfin tuna came in today. There was one sailfish released out of Hatteras Harbor today by the Tuna Duck.
The weather will be alright tomorrow. Winds are expected to be 10-15 mph out of the east, and only a 30% chance of rain with scattered thunderstorms possible. Fishing tomorrow ought to be a good bet.
