The weather has been so nice here on Hatteras Island since Hurricane Irene, but today it made a turn for the windy and overcast. North-east winds today 20- 30 mph and temperatures were in the low 70’s. Not much to report on the fishing front. Nor- easters make fishing tough. We did have a few guys go out and try some surf fishing but all the came back with were some drift wood, a decoy and some sea shells. The winds should drop out my Sunday they say. We are hoping for a nice week for all of our visitors that have come on such a long-delayed route to get here.
