Outer Banks Fishing Report 9-28

Here is your Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

What a beautiful day.  The sun was shining and the winds were calm out of south at 5 mph.  The temperatures were in the mid 80’s.  We had some good fishing from Cape Point.  Bluefish and a few puppy drum were caught.  On the Frisco beach some bluefish and sea mullet were reported.  Down at Hatteras Inlet there was a good bluefish bite on metal and finger mullet.   There were some sharks feeding on the bluefish close to shore.  Only a few boats fishing the Pamlico Sound.  They had good puppy drum fishing.  Offshore fishing continues to be good.  Wahoo’s and yellowfin and blackfin tuna are being caught.
