Outer Banks Fishing Report 11-20

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The weather was great today.  We had light south-west winds at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.  Down around the Buxton beach there were a few speckled trout and some sea mullet caught.  Around Cape Point there were some bluefish and a few puppy drum.  The Frisco beach was real good today with a little bit of everything.  We had bluefish, blow toads, a citation sea mullet caught by Robert Rzasa of Hummelstown PA , a few black drum and puppy drum.  Well, offshore today fishing was really good.  Not the wahoo action from yesterday but the king mackerel fishing is still on fire.  Light tackle dead bait or live baiting king mackerel fishing, it does not get any more fun and exiting than that.  There were just a few wahoo, one of which was a citation, see picture below, and some dolphin caught.

Brian Vittorini of Bridgeton NJ caught one the few wahoos offshore today.  It was a nice citation fish weighing 47 lbs 8 ozs. Great catch and thank you for bringing it in for a photo.
