Outer Banks Fishing Report 12-16

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today started off sunny and warm with light west winds and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.  This afternoon the winds switched to the north and picked up to 15 mph and the temperatures dropped to the low 50’s.  Slow fishing today from the surf.  Some scattered speckled trout  were caught on the south beach and the jetties in Buxton.  Offshore fishing was excellent again today.  Lots of black fin tuna, some nice citation wahoos and a few king mackerel were caught.
