Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was mostly sunny.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.  Around the Buxton beaches blow toads and sea mullet were caught, along with a few croaker. The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had blow toads and good bluefish.  The inshore boats caught some spanish mackerel and albacore.  The offshore fishing was a little slow but some quality fish were caught.  Some boats had a mix bag of wahoo, some citation size, dolphin and blackfin tuna, also some citation size.  A couple of boats really caught the wahoos that went way south south-east.  One boat had good success with tilefish and amberjack on the bottom.  Below is a good picture of a kid and his dolphin aboard the “Godspeed”.
