Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today Frisco was mostly sunny and warm.  We had west winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were around 70 degrees F.  The Avon and Buxton beaches were better today.  Lots of sea mullet reported along with some bluefish and a few blow toads.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had lots of current today.  6 ozs would not hold the bottom and that made fishing tough.  We had three citation red drum caught on one of the inshore boats today using cut bait.  They were fishing the Pamlico Sound.  A  47in, 48in and 50in fish were released.  Only a few boats fished offshore today and they had good fishing.  Some nice gaffer dolphin and a few wahoo were brought back to the dock.  Below is a nice gaffer dolphin form the “Bite Me” charter boat.
