Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today in Frisco we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the south at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  The Buxton beaches had some sea mullet and and bluefish, big and small.  Over the ramps in Buxton there were some puppy drum and a big drum caught.  The Frisco beaches were a little grassy, only some bluefish were caught.  I did hear a report of a small cobia caught from the beach in Frisco.  The inshore boats had good bluefish catches and some gray trout.  The offshore fleet had real good gaffer dolphin and there were two billfish released, a white marlin and sailfish.  Below is a nice gaffer dolphin caught aboard the “Sea Creature”  charter boat yesterday.
