Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Today in Frisco we had sunny skies and warm temperatures. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph with gusts to 20 mph. The Buxton beaches have had sea mullet and bluefish. Just over the ramps in Buxton some puppy drum and big bluefish were caught. Out at Cape Point this evening they have already caught over 10 big drum and a cobia was caught there this morning. The Frisco beach has had big bluefish and some puppy drum. The beaches out at Hatteras have had big bluefish and sea mullet. The inshore boats had some gray trout and bluefish. The offshore fleet had a excellent day. Lots of gaffer dolphin, some citation wahoo, the biggest was 80 lbs, citation blackfin tuna, trigger fish and one boat caught five cobia on the back in from offshore. The billfish bite was scattered but there were blue marlin, sailfish and a spearfish released today. Below are some pictures of the “Bite Me” spearfish coming out of the water and the group photo of their citations, an 80 lb wahoo and 36 lb dolphin. Pretty work guys and girl.
