Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was nice and calm with sunny skies. We had south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s. Out at Cape Point the spanish mackerel and bluefish bite was pretty good this afternoon. There were also some sea mullet and plenty of sharks caught. The Frisco beach had reports of a few sea mullet, bluefish and pompano. Down on the Hatteras beach and Inlet there were bluefish, sea mullet and flounder caught. The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel and bluefish today along with some speckled trout and red drum in the Pamlico Sound. The offshore fleet had good dolphin catches and real good wahoo. There were five sailfish and a blue marlin released today. The picture below is the “Bite Me” charter boat with a fun crew. My nephew Joe whose dad owns the “Bite Me”, Zeke with his dad Woody and Wheeler with the wahoo. This was Joe and Zeke’s first offshore trip and they had a great time.
