Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today.  We had south-east winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were around 90 degrees.  The fishing on the Avon beach was pretty good with croaker, sea mullet and some puppy drum caught.  The Buxton beaches had some puppy drum and sea mullet.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish and spanish bite was really good.   The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had sea mullet and bluefish.  The inshore boats had real good catches of speckled and gray trout.  The offshore bite was slow today. Only a few wahoo and dolphin caught.  One sailfish released.  The picture below is the a sailfish released aboard the “Bite Me” charter boat today.
