Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny but a few hard rain showers moved through in the afternoon.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  Today on the Avon beach some sea mullet, small puppy drum and bluefish were reported.  Around the Buxton beaches the small puppy drum, bluefish and some flounder were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach there were small puppy drum, some pompano and sea mullet caught.  The Hatteras beaches had spot, bluefish, small puppy drum and a few flounder.  The inshore boats had a good day.  They caught bluefish, puppy drum, speckled trout, flounder and the big red drum were spotted.  The offshore boats had good wahoo catches, the “Hatteras Fever II” charter boat had 15, a few dolphin, blackfin tuna and some grouper.  One sailfish was released today.
