Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was partly cloudy with rain most of the day. We had north-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s. Up on the Avon beach there were some small puppy drum, bluefish and sea mullet caught. Around the Buxton beach reports of sea mullet, small puppy drum, spot and bluefish. Out at Cape Point some nice bluefish, a few spanish mackerel and sharks were reported. The Frisco beach had a few pompano, bluefish and small puppy drum. Down around the Hatteras beaches the flounder, sea mullet, bluefish and some small puppy drum were reported. The inshore speckled trout bite was really good today. The offshore wahoo bite was real good again today. A few dolphin and blackfin tuna were scattered. One sailfish was released today. The “Godspeed” charter boat with another good day of wahoo fishing is pictured below with their 62 lb wahoo.
