Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny and really nice.  We had north winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  The Avon beach had bluefish, sea mullet, small puppy drum and some pompano.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good on cut bait and lures.  Some sea mullet were also caught.  The Frisco beach bite consisted of some pompano and bluefish.  Down on the Hatteras beach there were small puppy drum, bluefish, a few flounder and sea mullet caught.  The inshore boats had good catches of speckled and gray trout and some red drum and bluefish.  The offshore boats had another good day of wahoo fishing, scattered dolphin and blackfin tuna.  Six sailfish were released.
