Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny and the winds were calm today.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.  The Avon beaches had some spot, sea mullet, small puppy drum and black drum.  Around the Buxton beaches there were a few spot, sea mullet, bluefish, small puppy drum and pompano.  Out at Cape Point there were some keeper drum and some yearling drum caught.  A good amount of small bluefish were caught throughout the day.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beaches the bluefish bite and puppy drum bite were decent along with some sea mullet.  The inshore fishing was good today with speckled and gray trout and some bluefish.  The offshore boats had good blackfin tuna fishing and a few wahoo and dolphin.  Some nice grouper were also caught.
