Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny today.  We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 80 degrees.  On the Avon beach some sea mullet, bluefish, spot, croaker and puppy drum were caught.  Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was good in the morning and evening, a few spanish mackerel were mixed in.  On the Frisco beach some bluefish, sea mullet and flounder were reported.  Down at Hatteras Inlet bluefish, pompano, flounder and puppy drum were caught.  The inshore boats had good bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing around Cape Point today.  In the Pamlico Sound the big red drum bite was real good and some nice puppy drum and speckled trout were caught.  Offshore fishing was real good today.  Some dolphin, wahoo and blackfin tuna were caught.  Several sailfish and one blue marlin were released.  A nice photo of the “Native Son” charter boat with their blue marlin today.  They also caught 3 sailfish.
