Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was sunny and warm.  We had west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  Up on the Avon beach some spot, sea mullet and puppy drum were caught.  The Buxton beach had lots of spot caught, some bluefish and puppy drum also.  Around Cape Point the bluefish bite was good.  The Frisco beach there were bluefish and sea mullet reported.  The Hatteras beaches had spot, bluefish, sea mullet and some puppy drum.  The inshore speckled trout fishing is excellent right now.  Pretty good bluefish and gray trout fishing as well.  The offshore fishing was decent.  Good dolphin and wahoo with scattered blackfin tuna and king mackerel.
