Bluefish were reported on the Avon beach. The Buxton beaches had some spot, pompano and croakers. Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite is still good with reports of yearling drum being caught as well.
On the Frisco beach, a few flounder were caught in addition to sea mullet and bluefish. The Hatteras beaches also saw a few flounder and sea mullet as well as spot and pompano.
The inshore boats caught bluefish as well as speckled and gray trout. Offshore, wahoo fishing was good with a few dolphin and blackfin tuna mixed in as well.
