Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had a cloudy day today with some rain showers.  The winds were from the north-east at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 40’s.

The Hatteras- Ocracoke Ferry is back up and running.  They are using an alternative route which will take 60-70 minutes to cross until the primary route is finished.

Only some dog sharks out at Cape Point and on the Hatteras beach once again today.

No Boats fishing inshore, but a few boats went offshore today and had some pretty good bottom fishing.  Amberjack, triggerfish, grouper, tilefish and sea bass were all caught.  Lots of bull and hammerhead sharks caught today too.  One surprise catch today,  The “Good Times” charter boat caught a Cobia today.
