We hope everyone had a Happy Easter.
Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was warmer with partly sunny skies. The winds were from the east switching to the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were around 60 degrees.
The beaches were nice today with blow toads and sea mullet caught on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches. A few puppy drum and sea mullet are still being caught on he Buxton beach and out at Cape Point.
No boats fishing inshore. Offshore fishing today was once again great for bluefin tuna. Only a few boats fishing but many bluefins were there. A number of bluefins were caught, released and brought back to the dock. Even a white marlin made a showing today behind the “Bite Me” charter boat along with a big eye tuna. The white marlin, big eye and bluefin tuna are pictured below.
