Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies and warm temperatures. We had south-west winds at 10-15 mph with the temperatures in the upper 60’s.
The few guys who braved the Cape Point Walk to fish caught lots of blow toads. The blow toad and sea mullet bite was pretty good on the Frisco beaches. Their were still some puppy drum and a few black drum caught today on the Frisco Beach. Only some sea mullet were reported on the Hatteras beaches.
No boats fishing inshore but a few offshore boats had a mix of fish caught. A few dolphin, yellowfin and blackfin tuna, wahoo and albacore were caught. The bottom fish included tilefish, grouper and trigger fish. The “Godspeed” charter boat had a good day bottom fishing and the 44 lb snowy grouper pictured below was a bonus.
