Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today the weather was nice with mostly sunny skies and very scattered light rain showers. We had south-west winds switching to the south-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.
Fishing today was pretty good with blow toads and sea mullet being caught along the Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches. There were a few puppy drum caught over on the Frisco beach..
The bluefish have shown for the inshore boats today in pretty good numbers. The offshore fleet have caught a nice catch of yellowfin tuna, a few dolphin, wahoo and those groupers are big and biting well from the bottom along with tilefish. The picture below is the “Release” charter boat with a nice grouper caught today.
