Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had plenty of sunshine. We had south-east winds 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.
Fishing today was real good. One flounder caught on the Buxton beach. Good catches of blow toads and sea mullet on the Frisco beach with a few spot mixed in. Down on the Hatteras beach a few bluefish and some sea mullet and blow toads were caught. One loan striper was also reported down there.
No boats fishing inshore today. The boats fishing offshore today had a few yellowfin and blackfin tuna, some citation wahoo and lots of mako sharks. The tilefish and grouper bottom fishing was good today. The “Tuna Duck” did have a real good day. Mako shark, wahoo’s, yellowfin and blackfin tunas and dolphin were all caught.
