Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today the sun came out just before noon and temperatures were nice.  The winds were from the south-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

Today the beaches were pretty nice.  There were some nice bluefish caught on the Buxton beach today.  No reports from the Frisco beach and the Hatteras beaches had a few sea mullet and blow toads.

Fishing inshore was good with some puppy drum and big skinny bluefish caught.  A few boats fished offshore today.  Catches of  yellowfin and blackfin tuna, wahoo and dolphin were reported.   There are still mako sharks being caught.
