Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had one warm sunny day.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

Fishing today from the Buxton beach was pretty good with lots of sea mullet, some bluefish and black drum.  The Frisco and Hatteras beach reported bluefish and a few sea mullet.

The inshore boats had a real good day catching puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.  Good bluefish reported as well.  The offshore boats had another day with excellent catches of dolphin with limits and a few blackfin tuna and wahoo catches.  One white marlin was released and a blue marlin was released.   Some nice grouper were brought up from the bottom.  The photo below was the “Good Times” charter boat with one of their dolphins and grouper.
