Happy Mothers Day Hatteras Island Fishing Report

We hope the Wonderful Mothers had a fun filled day today!!!

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the north-west switching to the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.

Fishing today was slow.  We had some bluefish, sea mullet and a few speckled trout on the Buxton beach.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had some bluefish and sea mullet reported.

The inshore boats had a few puppy drum and pretty good bluefish catches.  Offshore fishing continues to be good with limits of dolphin and amberjacks.   A few wahoo and a grouper were caught.
