Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny and warm. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
The Buxton beaches had good catches of citation sea mullet, some flounder and bluefish. Out at Cape Point some spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported with big rays and puppy drum . The Frisco beach had some sea mullet, bluefish and flounder. Francis Kennady caught a nice 5 lb 10 oz flounder today over on the Frisco Beach. Pretty work!!!
The Hatteras beaches had some sea mullet, flounder, bluefish and black drum caught.
The inshore boats had good catches of spanish mackerel and some cobia. There were also some real good sea bass and triggerfish catches. The Pamlico Sound produced a few speckled and gray trout and puppy drum.
The offshore boats had some dolphin catches and a few yellowfin tuna. A few boats caught billfish. 3 blue marlin and a white marlin were released. Below the “Godspeed” charter baot with a white marlin on the leader.
