Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had overcast skies in the morning with heavy showers off and on the rest of the day .  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph with gusts to 30 mph.  The temperatures were in the low 80’s.

The Buxton beaches had sea mullet and bluefish.  Out at Cape Point a few spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches had some sea mullet.

No boats fishing inshore due to the weather.

The offshore boats had some nice size dolphin catches and some blackfin tuna and wahoo.  A blue marlin and a sailfish were released today.
