Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had partly sunny skies.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-12 mph with the temperatures in the upper 70’s.

The Buxton beaches had sea mullet, bluefish and croaker.  Out at Cape Point a few spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported.  The Frisco beach had some sea mullet caught.  Down on the Hatteras beach there were black drum, bluefish and croakers caught.

No fish to report from the inshore boats.  Some good clamming though.

The offshore boats caught lots of dolphin and some yellowfin and blackfin tuna.  A couple of blue marlin and a few white marlin were released today.
