Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was sunny all day. The winds were from the south-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  Pretty much like yesterday.

On the Buxton beach today sea mullet and pompano were reported.  Out on the Frisco beach some sea mullet, puppy drum and pompano were reported.   Down on the Hatteras beach croakers and sea mullet were caught.

The inshore boats caught some more big red drum and cobia in the Pamlico Sound today.  The offshore fishing was decent today.  Some dolphin, wahoo and blackfin tuna were reported.   The picture below is Jake Worthington’s 31 1/2lb dolphin caught today aboard the “Swordfish” charter boat.  Most of the Dolphin caught today were a larger size.
