Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was nice. The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 90 degrees.

On the Buxton beach today there were good sea mullet catches reported.  Out on the Frisco beach some sea mullet and pompano were caught.   The Hatteras beach had a few sea mullet, spot, croaker and pompano today.

The inshore boats caught puppy drum and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound today.  The big spanish mackerel showed up today along with some bluefish up along the beaches.  The offshore fishing was decent today.  Some good catches of dolphin and wahoo were reported.   There were 5 sailfish and one blue marlin released.  The Picture below is a good shot of a sailfish  released aboard the “Godspeed” charter boat.
