Today we had mostly sunny skies with some very light rain in the early afternoon. . The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s
On the Buxton beach today catches of sea mullet and pompano reported. The Frisco beach had sea mullet, pompano and bluefish caught. The Hatteras beach had sea mullet, bluefish, pompano and the big drum have made another showing at the Inlet..
The inshore boats caught puppy drum, bluefish and speckled trout. The offshore boats had excellent wahoo fishing, a few dolphin and blackfin tuna.. A few sailfish were released today.
