Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had another sunny day with crystal clear water all day. The winds were from the south-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s
On the Buxton beach there were sea mullet, pompano, spot and croaker caught. Out at Cape Point the spanish mackerel and bluefish fishing was pretty good on lures. On the Frisco beach sea mullet, black drum and pompano were caught. The Hatteras beaches had bluefish, sea mullet, flounder, pompano and spot reported.
The inshore boats had real good speckled and gray trout fishing with a few puppy drum caught in the Pamlico Sound. The spanish mackerel and bleufish are biting along the beaches near shore. The offshore boats had good dolphin and wahoo catches and a few king mackerel, yellowfin and blackfin tuna. 1 white marlin, 2 blue marlin and 3 sailfish were released. Below is the “Whatever” charter boat with their white marlin catch today.
